When the charcoal becomes glowing hot, take a pinch of grains and place it on top.\u003cbr\u003e3. The Palo Santo grains slowly heat up until they release a moderate amount of smoke. \u003cbr\u003e4. Leave the grains to burn on the charcoal until they no longer release smoke.\u003cbr\u003e5. The duration of the fumigation also depends on the size of the Palo Santo grains chosen for the fumigation. In this case, the Amarillo variety has a larger, cube-like format; therefore, the fumigation will last longer than with the Especial variety.\u003cbr\u003e6. For better fumigation, turn the charcoal with tweezers halfway through use. \u003cbr\u003e7. For a more controlled and longer-lasting fumigation, close the burner with the lid.\u003cbr\u003e8.
