- Insert the spout of the Neti Pot into one nostril, bending your head to the opposite side.
- Let the water flow and wait for it to come out the other nostril. During this step breathe through your mouth.
-Proceed in the same way with the other nostril.
-Blow your nose.

Cleaning the Neti Pot is very simple: just wash it with warm water and lemon. Or lukewarm water and coarse salt to restore the copper's luster.
