Terracotta 'Calentador' Diffuser Kit + Palo Santo Essential Oils

The Calentador is an innovative object for its design and above all because it allows you to increase the temperature of rooms by up to 2-3°C in a completely ecological way. In fact, it works thanks to the energy produced by candles placed inside on a metal disc. The heat produced warms the air which, becoming lighter, is channelled between the two terracotta domes and slowly released outside through the hole in the upper part.
A little water can be added to the outermost part of the metal disc to humidify the room while the Calentador is in use. Enriched with a few drops of essential oil, the water will diffuse a delicate aroma into the air, scenting and purifying the rooms.

The Calendator is entirely handmade by Ecuadorian artists, using techniques and decorations handed down from generation to generation.
Its diffuser and lamp functionality makes it ideal for small rooms, reading rooms, bathrooms, offices, spa cabins and meditation and relaxation spaces. In dimly lit rooms, its warm light creates an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.

The essential oils included in the kit are:

1. Amarillo: variety extracted from Palo Santo wood from Ecuador. The slightly balsamic aroma makes this oil ideal for aromatherapy, for scenting and purifying the energies of rooms.

2. Seleccion: variety extracted from Palo Santo wood from Peru. The sweet, penetrating aroma makes this oil ideal for aromatherapy, for scenting and purifying the energies of rooms.

3. Joya: exclusive essential oil, obtained by steam distillation from the fruit of the Palo Santo plant from Ecuador. The intense, spicy aroma makes this oil ideal for aromatherapy, for scenting and purifying the energies of rooms.

Aromatherapy uses essential oils with the aim of restoring wellbeing to the whole body, both physically and emotionally and mentally.

All our essential oils are natural, eco-sustainable and fair trade. They are steam extracted from Palo Santo wood or fruit (depending on the variety).

In the fruit oil extraction process, only 30% of fallen fruits are collected to allow the ecosystem to continue its natural cycle.

With the help of local communities, we collect only wood that has fallen naturally to the ground, so as to preserve the health of the Dry Forest.
