Terracotta Chakana Incense Holder for Cones and Sticks

The Chakana incense holder is much more than a simple accessory for fumigation. Its distinctive shape, inspired by sacred Andean symbolism, adds a deep ancestral meaning to the fumigation experience, enriching it with the energy of ancient cultures.

The Chakana is a thousand-year-old symbol originating from the Andes. The word, of Quechua origin, comes from the union of the word chaka (bridge, union) and hanan (high, great).
In a harmony of geometric figures, it brings together multiple forms and as a whole represents the Andean Cosmovision, a philosophy based on the balance between sky, earth and underground, on harmony between the elements of creation, on the cyclical nature of day and night and on the connection between the material and spiritual worlds.

The benefits of the Chakana incense holder:

The quintessential symbol of Balance, the Chakana transforms your fumigation experience into an even more meaningful ritual and enhances the beneficial effects of incense to promote inner harmony, mental and physical wellbeing and spiritual connection.

The Chakana incense holder allows you to safely enjoy independent and continuous fumigations. It is an elegant, convenient and versatile accessory: it holds cone incense practically and safely and is also perfect for stick incense formats, collecting the ash during use and protecting the surface from excessive heat and possible burns.
