Golden Copal Resin from Peru - Natural Incense

Resin has been used for millennia in ceremonies and energy purification rituals with particularly intense fumigations.

This is the rarest and finest variety of Copal; it is hand-harvested by local communities with full respect for the life cycle of the plants and the ecosystem.

Each resin has specific beneficial properties. This one, in particular, acts on the Solar Plexus Chakra and the Heart Chakra.

How are resins used?

For fumigation with resin, you need a mortar and a candle sublimator.

The steps to follow for perfect sublimation of resins are:

1. Light a small candle and place it under the copper dish of the sublimator.
2. After about a minute, the dish reaches the ideal temperature to begin sublimation.
3. At this point, place a pinch of resin previously powdered in the mortar onto the dish.
4. The resin’s aroma is released into the air straight away. The duration of the fumigation depends on the quantity of resin you wish to sublimate on the dish. If desired, you can also choose to mix the different varieties of resins.
5. When you decide to stop the sublimation, simply blow out the candle. Any unused resin can be reused.
6. If, however, the resin has exhausted its aroma, after blowing out the candle and leaving the dish to cool, it will detach by applying a little pressure underneath the dish itself.

What are the benefits of resins?

Golden Copal resin realigns energies by awakening self-esteem and the strength to defend ourselves. Its sweet and intense aroma works on the third and fourth chakras, connected respectively to the power of personal intention and to love, and instils self-confidence and courage. This variety is also recommended mixed with Palo Santo grains and chips.
