Palo Santo® Seleccion Resin from Peru - 100% Natural and Eco-sustainable

Resin has been used for thousands of years in ceremonies and energy purification rites. In this area, the Bursera graveolens tree grows on rocky soil and in harsh climatic and environmental conditions. The plant is exposed to frequent climate fluctuations and the Pacific breeze, factors that make this variety particularly fragrant.
The resin is collected by hand by local communities in full respect of the life cycle of the plants and the ecosystem. Each resin has specific beneficial properties.

How are resins used?

For fumigation with resin, a mortar and a candle sublimator are needed.
The steps to follow for perfect resin sublimation are:
1. Light a small candle and place it under the copper dish of the sublimator.
2. After about a minute, the dish reaches the ideal temperature to begin sublimation.
3. At this point, place a pinch of resin previously powdered in the mortar on the dish.
4. The aroma of the resin is released into the air immediately. The duration of the fumigation depends on the amount of resin you want to sublimate on the dish. If desired, you can also choose to mix the different varieties of resins.
5. When you decide to stop sublimation, simply blow out the candle. And the unused resin can be reused.
6. If, instead, the resin has exhausted its aroma, after blowing out the candle and leaving the dish to cool, it will detach by applying a little pressure underneath the dish itself.
