Terracotta 'Calentador' Diffuser + Palo Santo Essential Oil Bundle

The Calentador is an innovative object in terms of design and, above all, because it increases room temperature by up to 2-3°C in a totally natural way. In fact, it works thanks to the energy produced by candles placed inside on a metal disc. The heat produced heats the air, which, as it rises, is conveyed between the two terracotta domes and slowly released outside through the hole in the top.

A little water can be added to the outermost part of the metal disc to humidify the environment while the Calentador is in operation. By enriching it with a few drops of essential oil, the water will diffuse a delicate aroma into the air, perfuming and purifying the room.

The Calendator is entirely handmade by Ecuadorian artists, using techniques and decorations handed down from generation to generation.

Its functionality as a diffuser and lamp makes it ideal for small rooms, reading rooms, bathrooms, offices, spa cabins and meditation and relaxation spaces. In dimly lit rooms, its warm light creates an intimate and cosy atmosphere.

There are three essential oils contained in the kit:

1. Amarillo: a variety extracted from Palo Santo wood from Ecuador. The slightly balsamic aroma makes this oil ideal for aromatherapy, for perfuming and purifying room energies.
2. Seleccion: variety extracted from Palo Santo wood from Peru. The sweet and penetrating aroma makes this oil ideal for aromatherapy, to perfume and purify room energies.
3. Joya: exclusive essential oil, obtained by steam distillation from the fruit of the Palo Santo plant from Ecuador. The intense, spicy aroma makes this oil ideal for aromatherapy, to perfume and purify room energies.

Aromatherapy makes use of essential oils with the aim of restoring well-being to the entire body, both physically and emotionally and mentally.

All our essential oils are natural, eco-friendly and fair trade. They are extracted in a steam current distillation from the wood or fruit of the Palo Santo tree (depending on the variety).

In the fruit oil extraction process, only 30% of the fallen fruit is harvested to allow the ecosystem to continue its natural cycle.

With the help of local communities, we only harvest wood that has fallen to the ground in a natural way, so as to preserve the health of the Dry Woods.

Recommendations:

- Keep the object out of the reach of children.
- Avoid moving the object when it is in use.
- Do not leave the candles lit when unattended or while you are sleeping.
- Do not use it in a very ventilated environment.
